Frequently asked questions
You will still have an electricity bill; however, solar will significantly reduce the cost. When you first install your solar panel system, your utility company will provide you with an option to pay yearly. The billing cycle typically starts the same day your system turns on and ends a year later. At that point, you will receive a statement at the end of each solar billing cycle and this is referred to as a true-up bill.
Solar panels generate their own power and offset your monthly electricity bill. A solar panel system typically has a life span of 25-30 years which means you can cut your electricity cost for decades. In addition, there are state and federal incentives for home solar power systems. How do solar photovoltaic (PV) panels work?
The system has components that work together to convert the power of sunlight into usable energy. When the rays from the sun make contact with your roof, the panels convert solar radiation into direct current electricity.
The amount of electricity that the panels produce will be much less efficient than sunny days. Solar panels will still work even when partially blocked by clouds.
What our
client’s say
- “The elite crew did an outstanding job with our roof last week. They worked magic were friendly, professional and hard-working. They replaced all rotten wood and structures. Joyce and I are totally pleased.” - Vadja K.
- “I really like this company. Johnny was the foreman and was so nice and patient. They showed up on time and cleaned up every day. I was worried about my pool getting dirt in it so they covered it each day and took away the cover each night. Johnny always answered his text messages and was great at answering all of my millions of questions.” - Kris L.
- “Went great! He is very responsive, professional, and knows his stuff. He gave us many options and talked to us through the pros and cons of each. This is our third time working with him across two properties in the last 8 years, and we are very, very lucky to have found him.” - Mandy L.
